THE HISTORY OF THE DECOBAU GROUP
The cornerstone of the Decobau group of companies / Deco Grundbesitz AG was laid in 1970 by Manfred Demczenko († 1994) from a craft business / old building renovation. The craft business was successfully expanded in the mid-1980s to include smaller property development measures in the Baden-Württemberg region.
Since the mid-1990s, the property development business has increasingly become a focal point alongside the craft business. Back then, under the leadership of the current CEO Dietmar Demczenko, property development measures > 200 units were developed and successfully implemented.
At the beginning of 2001, the company form was changed from a GmbH to an AG as the holding company. Chairperson of the Supervisory Board: Anita Demczenko (mother), CEO Dietmar Demczenko, 100% shareholder Demczenko family.
After this realignment of the company structure, the company has further positioned itself in the areas of buying and selling residential portfolios, including administration and property management. The focus here is on affordable housing.
Deco Grundbesitz AG currently manages more than 1,000 apartments for its own portfolio and for customers. Our business partners come from different areas: from investors in an apartment to a listed real estate company.
Deco Grundbesitz AG is still a family business today. The third generation - Mr. Nicolay Manfred Demczenko - has been involved in the company since 2016, and he has also been a member of the management board since 2017. Deco Grundbesitz AG can proudly look back on more than 40 years of successful family ownership.
